So what do we do in our japanese class ». They made an official theme with 7-tan with sounds and so on which only was released with the first specific people who bought Windows 7 ultimate. Problem with stuff like that is: What about the rest of us? So I got hold of the 7-tan in japanese with english menu and installed it on my own laptop with window 7.

It looks like this:. As you can see the theme is nice but you probably noticed that there are 2 mascots too. Both are different from each other and totally unofficial, meaning fan-made. PS: The voice for connecting usb and disconnecting should be switched which each other since they made an error by putting the voices the wrong place for those two.

Other than that.. With the flood of -tans with 7's release, a couple non-canon and semi-canon loli-type mascots were released. The Futaba Loli has silver hair and red glasses, and wears some sort of grey headpiece. There is a picture of an older version of her here. The other loli of mention is around the same age region as Futaba's, with white hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. She wears a dress made out of the new Windows logo, with long white sleeves and a bow.

Her hair is curled into twindrills in the front, toward the bottom, and she wears hairclips on either side of her head that look like reddish bubbles with "7" inside. Given her depictions and overall look, she is a heavy reference to Chivistan, one of the Windows Vista characters.

A picture of her can be seen here. It became something of a mini-meme to have pictures of the current -tans dressing up in only some tape over their bodies and some variations, depending on the -tan in the shape of a "7", in the belief that they wanted to be 7-tan to gain a resurgence of popularity and maybe a second chance at being top dog.

Given the small amount of art of this, they can also be disputed as cosplay pictures of the respective -tans rather than a variation of 7's mascot. See Also: Bing Girls.
