It was by far my favorite multiplayer mode in the previous game and I have no idea why they would have taken it away from this game. Seeing who is the best hunter with your buddies is fun, but it is such a strange decision to take out a mode that was so popular. Overall, Deer Hunter is a decent enough entry in the series. It just felt like they were running out of ideas with this one or that they just wanted to get a new game out on the shelves as quickly as they could. I would not say that they flat out phoned this one in, but it certainly lacked the spark that the previous games had.
